Cerro Colorado Mexico racetrack needs to have a “security” lighting for the night shift. Prior to the support from LEDRite Mexico team, The entire racetrack only had 18 Metal Halide lamps with 3 lamps per pole available which will only provide approximately 10% of the racetrack lighting requirement. Besides of the shortage of lighting, the racetrack were also facing the following issues which made it difficult to schedule an opening date.
• The current lighting is not evenly distributed which is crucial for the racetrack lighting
• The current Metal Halide Lamps consume most of their limited energy capability.
LEDrite team evaluated the situation and conducted many lighting simulations and photometry studies. The final decision is to install 92 LED lamps. Among them 68 are 160W and 24 are 200W.
